La Landaise, Laluque. Holiday Rentals

Welcome to LA LANDAISE Rooms, where you can experience a true local's home in Laluque, located in the heart of the Landes region. Our homestay offers two fully furnished rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people. The spacious house spans over 200 m² and features a beautifully landscaped garden of approximately 2,000 m², complete with a private swimming pool.

Both rooms are situated on the upper floor, providing a lovely view of the garden. Each room measures about 12 m² and includes a mezzanine area of 60 m², which features a cozy reading room, a library, a desk, a wardrobe, and shelves. The shared bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and toilet for the convenience of both bedrooms.

The rooms are furnished with comfortable 140 cm double beds, along with shelves, duvets, pillows, and complimentary linen. Additionally, there is an extra bed available on the mezzanine (140 cm) and a travel cot for families with young children. Guests can also access a top refrigerator located on the mezzanine level.

While guests do not have access to the kitchen, our friendly host will serve a delicious breakfast to start your day. In the evening, upon reservation, you can also enjoy our table d'hôte service for an additional fee (ranging from 13.- to 30.-).

For your convenience, we provide shaded parking within our enclosed garden. During the summer season, there is a beach bus stop just 300 meters away, and the ocean is a mere 34 km away (Vielle Saint-Girons Plage). The towns of Castets and the A63 motorway are only 13 km away, while the thermal baths of Dax and Saint Paul-lès-Dax are just 18 km away.

Our location offers a peaceful environment, while still being conveniently close to a grocery store, restaurant, and the Museum of rural life in the Landes region. During the winter period, the house is heated to a comfortable temperature between 16 and 18°C, thanks to central heating and a wood stove.

Additional services include the option to have your personal laundry washed on-site for a small fee of 10,-. We provide WiFi access and a library with French and German books. Please note that there is no television, so feel free to bring your own computer if desired.

Our breakfast spread consists of freshly baked bread, butter, homemade jams (with a variety of flavors), fruits, orange juice, and your choice of tea, coffee, or milk chocolate. Breakfast is served from dawn until 11 a.m.

Check-in time is from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is at 11 a.m.

Our capacity includes 2 bedrooms accommodating up to 4 people, plus an additional travel cot.

Here are our prices for 2023, which include breakfast for two people:
- Low season: 60,-
- May/June/September/October: 70,-
- July/August + end of year: 85.- (weekly rental, arrival on Friday) x 7 nights = 595.-

A 30% deposit is required upon reservation, and we offer decreasing prices for monthly rentals. We accept payments via transfers or cash, while pets are not allowed.

Please note that our villa is energy-efficient and heated to 16°C to 18°C. We recommend bringing warm clothing, as there is no television available. However, we do provide WiFi access, so feel free to bring your computers.

To find our location, simply follow the directions to Laluque village and head towards the town hall. Once you reach the town hall, turn left, and you will find our house directly across from the water tower at 40 rue des Marronniers. If your GPS has trouble locating us, you can also search for "chestnut trees" with a single 'n'. Parking is available in our garden, immediately to the right after the open gate.
