Built on the orders of Robert de Thumery in 1535, during the reign of François I and completed in 1550 by Claude de Lorraine, the first Duke of Guise, this 16th-century Manor holds a rich history. It served as a hunting retreat for Henri IV on numerous occasions and in 1679, a chapel dedicated to St Peter and St Paul was added to the estate. In 1893, the Windsor family, esteemed English industrialists, made the Hermos Manor their cherished family estate.Located a mere 70 minutes from the bustling city of Paris, the Manor is nestled within a breathtaking 12-hectare park adorned with a variety of tree species. Delightful views of the walkway and the serene lake can be enjoyed throughout this peaceful park, truly capturing the essence of Normandy.
The Manor offers two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and WC. The "Peony" room features one double bed and two singles, providing a stunning view overlooking the walkway and the calming lake. The "Hydrangea" room offers one double bed and one single, with a charming view over the orchard and the flourishing apple trees.

Situated on the grounds of the historic Manor of Hermos, adorned with picturesque lanes, this enchanting property is surrounded by a vast, lush garden, an orchard, and expansive fields. Just 200 meters away, you will find a serene lake, adding to the tranquility of the setting.
The lodging itself is housed in a beautifully restored XVIth-century outbuilding. On the ground floor, guests will find a spacious 110-square-meter room featuring a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities such as a dishwasher and washing machine, a convenient cloakroom, and restroom facilities. Additionally, there is a comfortable bedroom for two people, as well as a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
Ascending to the first floor, guests will discover nine generously-sized rooms, each capable of accommodating three to five individuals. These rooms are tastefully furnished and offer a cozy ambiance. For added convenience, there are five well-appointed bathrooms available on this floor.

To get to Hermos, follow these travel directions:
If you are coming from Paris, Rouen, or Caen, take the A13 and then the A28 until you reach junction 13 called "Domaine d'Harcourt." At this junction, turn left onto the D438 and drive for about 400 meters. Then, take a right onto the D92 and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
If you are coming from Evreux, take the D613 and at the junction called "Les Quatre Routes," turn right onto the D840. Continue on this road until you reach Le Neubourg, and then head towards Epegard after passing Le Gros Theil. At Epegard, turn left onto the D92 and follow the signs that say "Hermos."
For those coming from Alençon or Bernay, take the A28 until you reach junction number 13. From there, follow the same instructions mentioned above.
