This charming and peaceful apartment is available for rent in the picturesque Port Launay, located on the banks of the river Aulne Nantes - Brest canal. The apartment is bright, spacious, and airy, offering a fully equipped kitchen with amenities such as a washing machine, fridge, microwave, toaster, cafétiere, kettle, and oven. It also features a cozy log burner, SKY television, French TV, DVD player, and a selection of books for your entertainment. The accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, one with an ensuite walk-in shower, a separate toilet, iron, ironing board, and a hairdryer. Additionally, there is a smaller single bedroom and a large sous sol area with a new clic clac sofa bed and a leather suite of furniture. The apartment has two separate entrances and can be rented as a whole unit or on a nightly basis, with breakfast included. It can accommodate up to four people, and all bedding and towels are provided. For families with young children, a high chair and cot bed are available upon request. The apartment also offers various entertainment options, including games and plenty of leaflets on nearby attractions. Outside, you can enjoy a safe and enclosed garden with sun loungers, a BBQ, bikes, and a kayak for your use. The location is just a short 15-minute drive away from beautiful unspoiled beaches, while Châteaulin is only 3 minutes away and offers supermarkets, shops, and pavement cafés. Directions
If you are coming from Roscoff, it will take you approximately one hour to reach us. From St. Malo, the travel time will be around 2.5 hours. If you are starting your journey from Brest, it will take you about 35 minutes, and from Quimper, it will only take 20 minutes.
When you approach Port Launay, make sure to keep the river on your left. As you pass the Quai, you will see our house, which is the first one under the viaduct, towards the ecluse (lock). Look for a sign outside the property that says "B 1 B" and double white iron gates leading to a driveway with secured parking.
In case you encounter any difficulties, please feel free to give us a call, and I will personally come and assist you!
