Directions
When traveling from the ports along the northern French coast, we always head towards Rennes, then Nantes, and finally Bordeaux. By bypassing all the towns along the way, you will reach the A10. Take exit 34 at St. Jean d'Angely and continue on the D939 in the direction of Angouleme, bypassing the town. Follow the D939 until you reach the charming village of Siecq. In the center of the village, turn left at the small crossroads next to the bar. Continue for 1 kilometer, passing the sign "Coucoussac." Stay on the road, keeping to the left, until you enter Rue de Bellevue. After 50 meters, you will see a large arch in a high stone wall - and there you have it! You have arrived. If you are coming from any other direction, find the D939 (the main route between La Rochelle and Angouleme) and look for Siecq, which is located between Matha and Rouillac. From Siecq, follow the directions mentioned above.
