Description for B&B:
Villa du Parc is an elegant manor built in the 1930s, showcasing the charming "Basque style" architecture. Today, it offers a variety of holiday apartments available for weekly or short-term rentals, including a bed and breakfast option. These apartments range in size and comfortably accommodate between two to four individuals. The manor features a spacious hall, complete with a cozy fireplace, comfortable seating, complimentary internet access, various games, books, magazines, and a video projector. Additionally, the property boasts a large underground garage where guests can securely store and even work on their bicycles, motorcycles, skis, and more.
Surrounded by lush grounds spanning over 8000 square meters (approximately three acres), Villa du Parc offers breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. The grounds also include a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi for guests to enjoy. Relaxing amenities such as deck chairs, a barbecue area, and a playground for children are also available. Located on the outskirts of Prades, known for its Casals festival, the manor allows for a leisurely ten-minute walk to the town center, where guests can explore restaurants, cinemas, concerts, shops, and the weekly market.
Thanks to Prades' exceptional location, guests are presented with a wide range of holiday activities. Within just forty-five minutes, one can either sunbathe on the beach or indulge in hiking and skiing at altitudes exceeding two thousand meters (approximately seven thousand feet). The region also offers opportunities for rock climbing, spelunking, canyoning, white-water kayaking, and paragliding, which can be enjoyed year-round due to the Mediterranean climate. For a unique experience, guests can embark on a scenic journey aboard the "yellow train," a narrow-gauge railway that traverses a narrow valley and ascends to the high plateau of the nearby mountains.
Culture enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the area, including the fortresses designed by Vauban, the castles of the Catharists, the Dali museum or house, the renowned Casals festival, and numerous exquisite abbeys.
The diverse offerings of our region guarantee an unforgettable vacation experience here at Villa du Parc.
