Mas de Garrigue is a remarkable historic house that dates back to the 15th century. Originally a hunting lodge and fortified farm, it has preserved many of its original features, including impressive stone fireplaces, arrowslits, a 15th century window, stone sinks, exquisite oak beams, and pigeon coops.

The house has been meticulously restored by Sarah and Steven, who have tastefully combined elegance with a contemporary touch. The fusion of Irish antiques and art with French architecture creates a delightful and harmonious atmosphere.

Located in the picturesque Midi Pyrenees region of South West France, Sarah and Steven extend warm Irish hospitality to their guests. Sarah's culinary expertise, acquired through her studies in Paris, and Steven's background in the renowned Irish culinary and hospitable Allen clan, ensure that guests are treated to an exceptional dining experience. Their dinners feature sumptuous dishes made from homegrown and locally sourced produce. Each year, Steve raises two "Noir de Gascon" pigs, which Sarah skillfully transforms into delectable terrines, pates, saucisses, and hams. Additionally, Steven keeps the kitchen stocked with an abundance of vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, and even saffron.
