Welcome to Les Marmottes, a charming lodging located in Ornon Village, 38520 ORNON. With a total area of 60 sq. m., this cozy accommodation has been awarded two ears by the lodgings of France.Ideal for a group of 6 people, Les Marmottes offers two bedrooms with double beds (140 cm) and a bunk bed with an additional single bed (90 cm). An extra bedroom is also available for rent if needed. The spacious living room (20 sq. m.) features a TV with VCR, while the small kitchen is equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, gas stove, and microwave. The bathroom includes a bathtub, and there is a separate toilet. Additionally, guests have access to a shared laundry room with a washer, dryer, and freezer.
Our character house is situated on the outskirts of the village and shares a terrace with the owner and another lodging, accommodating a total of 5 people. If desired, both lodgings can be rented together, accommodating up to 11 people at a discounted price of 10% off the regular rate during the off-peak season. The spacious terrace (150 sq. m.) offers shade, a pool, garden furniture, a barbecue, and breathtaking views of the valley and the Col d'Ornon. There is also a small field with swings located just 50 meters away.
Les Marmottes is located within the perimeter of the Parc des Ecrins, providing easy access to various outdoor activities. For skiing enthusiasts, the Col d'Ornon ski station is only a 5-minute drive away, while Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes can be reached within 35 and 45 minutes respectively. Fishing is also available in the nearby valley, although a permit is required. For those looking to cool off, there are swimming pools located at a distance of 10 km and 20 km.
With numerous hiking trails starting right from the house, Les Marmottes is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Come and enjoy a memorable stay in this idyllic setting.

Gîte du RDC
Bernard et son épouse sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Environs magnifiques. Belles randos à faire. Produits locaux excellents : Bergerie de la Lignarre (fromages, viande...) à La Pallud. Bon séjour d'une semaine en avril. Le gîte du dessus est plus lumineux.
Directions
Before reaching Bourg d'Oisans, take a right turn 2 km earlier. Drive for 6 km until you see the hamlet called "la Pallud". Continue for another 2 km until you reach "Le Pont des Oulles". Be sure not to pass this bridge! Just 20 meters before the bridge, take a right turn and drive for 800 meters until you arrive at the hamlet called "la Poyat". Keep going for 2 km and you will reach the parking area of ORNON. Leave your car here temporarily and walk for 30 meters along the alleyway. The house, with 7 velux windows on the roof, will be on your right. Walk around it and you will be warmly welcomed by the landlords, Dominique and Bernard LEFEBVRE.
