Description for B&B:

Located in the heart of the charming village of Nanteuil-en-Vallée (officially recognized as a Petite Cité de Caractère) in the Charente region, Villa Taillefer is a spacious private residence surrounded by a walled garden that is adjacent to both the Canal des Moines and the river Argentor.

Gareth and Lesley, the owners and hosts of Villa Taillefer, have meticulously designed and decorated the house to create a cozy and tranquil ambiance. They have incorporated various colors and designs to pay homage to the house's rich history, while ensuring that guests enjoy modern comforts.

Guests can choose from three individually styled en-suite bedrooms, each offering its own unique charm. The most luxurious option, the Victor Hugo suite, even includes a private salon for guests to unwind and relax. The garden features several seating areas, allowing guests to soak up the sun or find a shady spot to enjoy a good book or simply unwind. For breakfast, guests can opt to dine on the spacious terrace or in the elegant dining room. Additionally, on Sundays, guests can enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the hosts themselves, provided they have made prior arrangements. Furthermore, there are two highly regarded village restaurants just a stone's throw away.

The hosts, Gareth and Lesley, are pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs and have even designated a ground floor bedroom specifically for canine guests. Isla, their Cocker Spaniel, is always thrilled to meet and greet new furry friends. The hosts are fluent in both English and French, ensuring effective communication with guests.
