Description for B&B:

Located just 10 minutes away from the picturesque city of painters, Pont-Aven, and 15 minutes from the stunning beaches, the Kerbeleg B&B is a magnificent 15th century stone house nestled in a tranquil setting, surrounded by a sprawling 2 hectare park.

Originally built from the stones of a castle, this historic place has undergone successive extensions and renovations to transform it from a manor house to a farm, and now serves as a charming B&B. As a passionate history enthusiast, your hostess will be delighted to share her knowledge of the place and its fascinating past. Each room is equipped with a book detailing recent research on the site through Breton history, allowing guests to delve into its rich heritage.

The B&B features two spacious and comfortable bedrooms, meticulously renovated to maintain the spirit of the house as it was six decades ago. Offering unobstructed views of the park, each room is oriented towards the south, providing a serene and peaceful ambiance.

The owner, in collaboration with talented local craftsmen, has transformed Kerbeleg into a bed and breakfast, incorporating choice materials and reinventing the layouts. The farmhouse is centered around a cathedral lounge with a grand fireplace, perfect for moments of relaxation and reading. Opening up to the billiard room, a spacious living area with stone floors and exposed beams, guests can unwind in style.

A grand stone staircase leads from the billiard room to the two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The separate WC is situated on the landing.

The BIRDS room, adorned with a large original granite fireplace, includes a small bedroom for two children. Les OURS, on the other hand, offers a magnificent view of the park. La Maison à PAIN, formerly the estate's bread oven, will soon be transformed into a charming room for a couple, complete with a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

Adjacent to the living room, behind another majestic fireplace, is the kitchen, providing a gourmet experience. Modernized and equipped with a large solid wood monastery table, it is the ideal spot for breakfast.

For leisurely activities, guests can enjoy the leisure room and library, featuring a table football and card table. On days when the weather is not as sunny, or after a long hike, guests can relax in the peaceful ambiance of this space.

During fine weather, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the park, where early risers may even catch a glimpse of deer, pheasants, and other wildlife at dawn.

With its convenient location less than 10 minutes from the highway, Kerbeleg offers easy access to the tranquil and scenic countryside. It also serves as a strategic base for exploring the region's cultural sites and tourist attractions, including the city of sailing, Lorient, Quimper, Concarneau with its charming old town, numerous small ports, the abers of South Finistère, and the granite sites. The B&B promises to be the perfect hub for a multitude of activities during your stay.
