Located in the heart of the Cévennes and Ardèche Regional Natural Park of Monts d'Ardèche, this country cottage offers a peaceful escape. Situated 640 meters above sea level in the charming village of Aizac, surrounded by chestnut groves, it provides a serene environment.

From the cottage, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Volane valleys to the East and the Besorgues valleys to the West. Explore the area's young volcanoes and discover the impressive Aizac Volcano, which has stood for 80,000 years.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of activities to enjoy, including fishing, climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, and swimming. Tennis, kayaking, and hiking are also popular options.

The cottage comfortably accommodates four guests on the ground floor. It features one bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, as well as a living room with a sofa bed and a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Pets are allowed with prior agreement for an additional fee of 15.

Breakfast can be served upon request, and picnic reservations can be made for your excursions.

The pricing for the cottage is as follows:
- High Season (June 29th to August 31st): 500 Euros per week
- Mid Season (May, June, September, school vacations): 300 Euros per week
- Low Season: 200 Euros per week
- Weekend Rates: Mid Season: 200 Euros, Low Season: 160 Euros

Discounts are available for longer stays: 10% off for two consecutive weeks and 15% off for three.

The cottage is open year-round, and it is conveniently located near the Aizac pass.

From this idyllic spot, you can admire the stunning valleys of Volane and Besorgues.

Embark on numerous hiking trails that will unveil the remarkable volcanic landscapes of Ardèche, with the highlight being the majestic Aizac Volcano, which has overlooked the village and its inhabitants for over 80,000 years. For those seeking adventure, indulge in activities such as fishing, climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, and kayaking. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, take a refreshing swim, play tennis, or simply enjoy leisurely walks in the surrounding area.

The comfortable cottage can accommodate 2 to 6 guests on the ground floor. It features one bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, a living room with a sofa bed and a TV, and a well-equipped kitchen including a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. There is also a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Outside, a terrace is available for you to unwind and enjoy the beautiful garden views.

Pets are welcome, and we are pleased to offer breakfast and picnic reservation services for your hiking adventures. The rates vary depending on the season: High Season (29/06-31/08) is priced at 500 € per week, Mid Season (May-June-September + school holidays) is priced at 300 € per week, and Low Season is priced at 200 € per week. Weekend rates are 200 € in Mid Season and 160 € in Low Season. Additionally, we offer a 10% discount for two consecutive weeks and a 15% discount for three weeks or more. Our establishment is open all year round.

Directions

To reach VALS LES BAINS, which is located 10 km north of AUBENAS, follow the route towards "The Cheylard" and "Antraigues Volane." When you reach the end of Vals les Bains, avoid taking the D 243 road (which leads to Aizac) on the left. Instead, continue on the D 578 road, which will lead you through the beautiful Volane valley. Along the way, you will be able to admire the impressive basaltic flows from the Aizac volcano. After passing through several hamlets, you will reach the village of Antraigues. Leave this picturesque village on your right and take the first left road towards AIZAC. This road will lead you to the Col d'Aizac, which is at an altitude of 642 m. Once you reach the col, you will find our guest houses right in front of you. Our GPS coordinates are Latitude N: 44. 71,397 or 44° 42'50"E and Longitude: 4. 32 986 or 4 19'47".
