Located between Gard and Hérault, in close proximity to the charming medieval town of Sommières, the Gîte des Bois offers two independent cottages that can accommodate 2 to 4 people each. Situated in a tranquil park filled with fragrant green oaks and the scents of the garrigue, this stunning property features a swimming pool and provides a natural and relaxing environment away from the village.The "Bleuette" cottage is housed in a typical dry stone mazet. It is conveniently located on one level, ensuring privacy, and is tastefully decorated with air conditioning. The cottage also boasts a spacious fenced terrace overlooking the park. Inside, you will find a separate bedroom with a comfortable 160-sized bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a fully equipped open kitchen (including a dishwasher, washing machine, and all necessary small appliances). The cottage is also equipped with air conditioning and internet access.
On the other hand, the Marion cottage is a cozy studio situated under the shade of oak trees. It is also air-conditioned and features a large 160-sized bed, a kitchenette with all the necessary amenities, a living room with a sofa (which can accommodate 2 additional guests), and a TV. The cottage includes a nice bathroom with a washing machine and a spacious terrace overlooking the picturesque wooded area. Like the Bleuette cottage, Marion also offers air conditioning and internet access.
Guests have access to the real swimming pool, the park, the barbecue area, and the boulodrome. Additionally, there is parking available under a carport within the enclosed property. Pets are allowed with an additional fee. Beds will be made upon your arrival and we will take care of the cleaning upon your departure.
As passionate hosts who love our region, we will welcome you with simplicity and warmth. Our accommodations are clean and cozy, making you feel right at home. The Gîte des Bois is the ideal place to relax and explore the entire region, as it is only a thirty-minute drive from both the beaches and the Camargue. It is also conveniently located on the road to the Cévennes and near the peak of Saint-Loup.

Directions
Take the freeway A9 and exit at Lunel (Exit 27). At the roundabout, take the left turn towards Sommières (D34). In Sommières, continue straight at the first roundabout, and at the second roundabout, take the left turn towards Saint de Tréviers, following the signs for Galargues (D22 then D1). Stay on this road until you reach Galargues, pass through the village, and continue straight. After passing the cooperative cellar, you will find The Shelter of Wood 100 meters to the left. Look for a green metallic gate and a wall made of dry stones. If you encounter any issues or delays, feel free to call us. We look forward to seeing you soon.
