Description for B&B:

St. Jeanvrin is a quaint town located in the southern region of Bourges, Cher, which happens to be the ancestral home of the family. The name of the house was chosen to pay homage to the family's roots.

The name "Jeanvrin" is a local variation of "Januarius," who was a revered figure in Naples. St. Januarius of Naples was a Bishop and Martyr who lived during the 4th century. He is one of the fifty patron saints chosen by the people of Naples. Throughout history, he has been believed to offer protection against various calamities, including the plague in 1497, 1631, 1698, and 1767, as well as the potential destruction caused by the eruption of Vesuvius in 1779.

One notable miracle associated with St. Januarius is the transformation of his blood. It is said that for over 600 years, his blood, which is normally solid, miraculously turns into a liquid three times a year within the Cathedral of Naples.
