Travel directions on the road to Brittany:
To reach the outskirts of the village of St Maurice lès Charencey in the Perche region, follow the RN12 at a distance of 120 km from Paris, near Verneuil sur Avre and Center Parcs.
Avoid relying on GPS or internet road sites as they may suggest a route passing through Chartres, resulting in a longer journey.
Instead, take the following route on the RN12:
Starting from Paris, head towards A13 or A86 and continue towards A12 Dreux or St Quentin en Yvelynes. Once past Dreux, stay on the RN12 towards Alençon.
After traveling approximately 17 km past Verneuil sur Avre and the village of Armentières, you will encounter a junction with four possible directions. Do not proceed further on the road marked as 90 or beyond.
After 800 meters, make a right turn and decrease your speed to spot the signboard indicating "chambres dhôtes" and "Gîte Edena (gîte de la Butte)".
