Are you yearning for a peaceful and serene sanctuary? Look no further than La Marienne, a converted 15th century priory nestled within expansive gardens. We eagerly await your arrival and offer the following amenities for your comfort and enjoyment:- Four fully furnished bedrooms, including a spacious family suite
- A cozy living room where you can unwind by the fireplace, socialize, or lose yourself in a good book
- A delightful winter garden where you will be treated to a breakfast of fresh pastries and homemade marmalade
Allow us to introduce our enchanting rooms, each equipped with a hairdryer for your convenience:
- Coquelicot: A charming ground-floor bedroom for two, boasting direct access to the garden. It features a large Queen-size bed, dressing room, and an en-suite shower with a separate toilet.
- Angélique: A family suite on the ground floor, perfect for a party of four. This suite offers two rooms with direct garden access, including a master bedroom with a spacious Queen-size bed, dressing room, a bathroom with a bathtub and two washbasins, a separate toilet, and an adjacent bedroom with twin single beds.
- Violette: A delightful first-floor bedroom for two, complete with a large Queen-size bed, shower, and separate toilet.
- Pivoine: Another first-floor bedroom for two, featuring twin single beds, a shower, and a separate toilet.
In addition to these accommodations, we invite our guests to take advantage of our private car park, four bicycles, fridge-freezer, and a selection of board games and books. For families with little ones, we offer a cot, high-chair, and even lend picnic baskets.
Within our sprawling 4500m² gardens, you can enjoy the use of a barbecue and unwind with a refreshing drink on our benches, hammocks, or outdoor table.

Leave the A83 at exit "N°9 Marais Poitevin" and continue on the N148 road towards Niort. At the first traffic light, make a left turn towards Lesson. After crossing the bridge, take the second left onto "rue de Virée".
If you're coming from Bordeaux, take the A10 motorway. Exit at n°33 and head towards Niort. Follow the N148 road towards Nantes Cholet. After approximately 8 kilometers from the Niort exit, at the traffic light in the town of Benet, turn right towards Lesson. After crossing the bridge, take the second left onto "rue de Virée".
The closest train station to La Marienne is Niort, which is about a 15-minute drive away. If you prefer traveling by air, the La Rochelle/Poitiers airport is located 70 kilometers from La Marienne.
