Eric and Corinne invite you to experience the charm of their 16th-century manor house located in the picturesque countryside near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the D-day beaches. Situated just 12 km from the coast, this recently renovated 18th-century cottage offers two comfortable apartments, accommodating 3 and 4 persons respectively (or the entire cottage for up to 7 persons).The manor's central location allows for easy exploration of various points of interest, such as the "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, the Channel Islands including Jersey and Guernesey, as well as the historic D-day beaches and their monuments, such as Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.
GITE N°1 is designed for 3 persons and features a charming ground floor living/dining room with cozy sofas and a large, old fireplace (for decoration only). Additionally, there is a bar area equipped with basic cooking facilities including a microwave and fridge. Upstairs, you will find a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed. The bathroom is beautifully appointed with a bathtub, wash-hand basin, and WC, complete with a stylish wood floor in bamboo.
GITE N°2 is ideal for 4 persons and boasts a large ground floor living/dining room with comfortable sofas and a grand, old fireplace (for decoration only). Entertainment options include a TV, CD/DVD player, and internet access. The bar area is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Upstairs, there are two generously sized bedrooms, each furnished with a queen size bed and two single beds. The bathroom features a shower, wash-hand basin, and WC, complemented by a tasteful wood floor in bamboo.
Outside, you can enjoy a private garden, with a portion reserved exclusively for the B&B guests and the cottage. Relax on the patio with the provided table and chairs, taking in the serene surroundings.
