Situated at the base of the famous Mont Ventoux, a challenging climb in the Tour de France, this estate offers beautifully decorated and spacious accommodations for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Whether you are a family, couple, or part of a cycling or biking group, Les Maquinols Estate is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and reconnect with yourself.Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the village, the property can be reached through a private path. Despite its secluded 5000m2 of land, you'll find yourself within easy reach of over a dozen restaurants, bars, shopping, and various entertainment options such as circus shows, arts and crafts fairs, sporting events, and concerts throughout the year.
Each area of the estate offers breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux, the largest mountain in the region, making it a paradise for cyclists and hikers. The property also features secure private parking and gated access. With fast Wi-Fi throughout the entire house and kitchenette areas in each bedroom equipped with essential appliances, you'll have the independence to enjoy your stay to the fullest. The main kitchen is located on the first floor.
Surrounded by vineyards, cherry orchards, olive groves, and fields of lavender, the estate offers fantastic opportunities for walking and cycling right from your doorstep. Nature lovers and birdwatchers will find themselves in paradise. Despite its serene location, the village is just a short walk away.
The house itself exudes a charming Provencal ambiance, with a spacious living room, a salon with a large screen TV and comfortable couches, and a dining area that can accommodate seven people comfortably. There are four extra-large terraces with lounging chairs and tables, providing both great views and privacy. The house features four bedrooms and three and a half baths. The master bedroom on the second floor is more than 70m2 and includes an extra large king-size bed. There is an additional adjacent bedroom that can sleep five if necessary. The ground floor has a mezzanine bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private bathroom. Another bedroom on the first floor also has its own bathroom, perfect for accommodating two guests. While the house can sleep up to 13 people, the preferred occupancy is around six to eight guests.
The area offers a plethora of activities, including cycling, swimming, hiking, and wine tasting. With over two hundred vineyards and domains such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueryas, Beaumes-de-Venise, and Gigondas just a short drive away, wine enthusiasts will be in heaven. In addition, there are numerous picturesque Provencal villages, landmarks, markets, arts and crafts, and renowned culinary establishments, such as the Château de Rochegude, all within a 30-mile radius. The drive to Avignon for theater, arts, and music festivals takes approximately 35 minutes. Marseille airport is about one hour and 15 minutes away, while Aix-en-Provence, Arles, and Nîmes can be reached within an hour. The beautiful beaches of Saintes-Marie de la Mer are just 50 minutes away.
