Description for Gite
Welcome to our two charming cottages in Alsace, conveniently situated between Strasbourg and Saverne. Located just 3 km from the northern gateway of the Alsace wine trail, our cottages are nestled in the town of Wasselonne.Steeped in history, our cottages are built on the site of a former tannery that operated during the 18th and early 19th century. The town of Wasselonne itself is renowned for its square tower and its unique collection of emblems representing the Trades of Yesteryear, making it a truly special place to visit in Alsace.
Our first cottage, "The Lohkäs," can comfortably accommodate 2-5 guests, while our second cottage, "Le Foulon," is perfect for 2-4 people. We understand that traveling with a baby can be challenging, which is why "Le Foulon" is equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your trip easier.
Both of our cottages are newly constructed and tastefully furnished with a focus on functionality and comfort. They have been awarded a 3-star rating by the Prefecture and are also labeled with 3 Keys by Clévacances, ensuring a high standard of quality.
Not only are our cottages a great base for exploring the Alsace region, but they also provide easy access to neighboring regions such as Lorraine and the Black Forest in Germany. We are conveniently located just 25 km from Strasbourg, 30 km from the German border, 15 km from Saverne, and 28 km from Obernai. Don't miss out on visiting the famous inclined plane of St. Louis Arzviller, located just 34 km away, or the picturesque village of Wangenbourg, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Alsace," which is only 15 km away.
Experience the beauty and charm of Alsace by staying in our delightful cottages in Wasselonne.
