Located just twenty meters from the banks of the Loire River, on the paved quays of the former harbor stopping place, Julie and Aurélien warmly welcome you to the Lodging House of the Bargemen. This charming establishment partially dates back to the 15th and 18th centuries.

Situated in the heart of Chalonnes-sur-Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this characterful building offers an authentic experience and a tranquil atmosphere. The garden and terrace provide a fantastic view of the Loire River, adding to the overall sense of peace.

Following several months of renovations, the Lodging House of the Bargemen is ready to open its doors, offering tastefully decorated accommodations that respect the charm of the surroundings. The main house consists of three guest houses, each carefully and imaginatively decorated.

Additionally, the recently renovated Boatmen's Cottage offers a comfortable and flexible stay. Conveniently located, you can easily explore the diverse restaurants, bars, and markets on foot. Chalonnes-sur-Loire is known for its bustling markets, with over a hundred vendors, taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

During your stay, you can enjoy various activities such as traditional canoeing, boat trips on the Loire River, cycling along the riverbanks, walking tours, fishing, and even visiting the local vineyard's outdoor pool via a charming little train. There is also a cinema for entertainment.

This charming cottage is the perfect choice for families, friends, or groups of up to six people. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen with an induction plate, oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Additionally, guests have free access to the laundry room for washing and drying.

On the first floor, you'll find a spacious living room, a bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200), a shower room, and a separate toilet. The second floor features another bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200).

Outside, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful wooded garden and terraces with stunning views of the Loire River. Make the most of your stay by taking advantage of the numerous activities offered in the region.
