Experience a romantic getaway at our charming cottage, situated on the picturesque Dutch/Belgian border. Just 2 km away from the renowned village of Philippine, known for its exceptional restaurants, and 3 km from Assenede, one of the oldest villages in Flanders.

Our cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6-7 guests, with three double bedrooms on the first floor. The bedrooms consist of one with a kingsize bed and two with two single beds each. If needed, we can also provide a free cot. Additionally, there is a modern design bathroom and toilet.

The ground level features a welcoming entrance hall, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, HD TV, DVD player, and wifi internet. Adjacent to the living room is a dining room with panoramic views of the garden, surrounding fields, and pastures. Outside, you'll find a garden and several south-facing sun terraces complete with a BBQ.

As our guest, you'll have access to complimentary bicycles for exploring the area. There are plenty of activities to enjoy nearby, including tennis, golf, sailing, surfing, swimming in tropical in- and outdoor pools, fishing, cycling, hiking, kayaking, and even indoor skiing.

The region is perfect for cycling enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those seeking relaxation and fishing opportunities. Additionally, it's an ideal base for discovering the historical towns of Ghent, Hulst (NL), Bruges, Antwerp, Damme, Middelburg, Goes, and Veere (NL), all within a 35 km radius.

If you're looking to venture to the Belgian/Dutch North Sea Coast, the seaside resorts of Breskens, Cadzand, Knokke, and Vlissingen are just a 20-minute drive away.

For your convenience, the cottage is located within reasonable proximity to various airports, including Brussels Zaventem (90 km), Brussels South/Charleroi (135 km), and Lille/Lesquin (France) (110 km). If you prefer to travel by ferry, Calais Eurotunnel is 170 km away, while Dunkerque Ferry Port is 125 km away.

These rates include free use of bicycles for adults, wifi internet, and firewood for the fireplace.

Additional charges apply for extra guests (3rd-7th person), pets, cleaning, deposit, electricity usage, and towels/bed linen.

For guests staying a minimum of 4 nights, we offer a complimentary shuttle from EEKLO train station to the cottage.
