This historic monastery, dating back to the late 18th century, is conveniently located just a short distance from the bustling center of Aix en Provence.Immerse yourself in the elegant ambiance of the Bastide, which offers four exquisitely furnished guest rooms. Each room is adorned with beautiful period and country furniture, adorned with Provençal fabric and luxurious bed linens. These meticulously decorated rooms provide a cozy and comfortable retreat for guests.
Having once been a mas, bastide, and even a vineyard, this 18th century gem has undergone a meticulous restoration over the past two years. Nestled within two acres of tranquil gardens, the Bastide offers a serene and sun-drenched setting for ultimate relaxation. Guests can unwind by the expansive swimming pool, engage in friendly games of badminton and ping pong, or partake in a classic game of pétanque beneath the shade of the parasol pine trees. The lush and established gardens boast a variety of trees, including almond, olive, eucalyptus, sycamore, chestnut, and lime trees. Additionally, the meticulously maintained vegetable and herb gardens are a visual delight.
Start your day off on a culinary high note with a gourmet breakfast prepared with care by Caroline, enjoyed on the inviting patio. Afterward, embark on an exploration of the enchanting charms of Aix en Provence and the breathtaking countryside, which has long inspired renowned painters and poets.
The Bastide features four elegantly appointed bedrooms, ranging from 25 to 35 square meters, each exuding its own unique character. These tastefully decorated rooms showcase antique country-style furnishings, complemented by comfortable bedding adorned with local fabrics and luxurious linens. Moreover, each room boasts a cozy sitting area and a well-appointed shower room, ensuring the utmost comfort and well-being for all guests. For those who wish to stay connected, our local area network provides internet access in all rooms, both through Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections.

For travelers coming from the North, West, or South on the highways, once you reach the vicinity of Aix, take the A8 highway towards Nice. Exit at the first exit, which is number 30 A (Aix - Pont de l’Arc, Luynes). At the first roundabout, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.3 kilometers, and you will be very close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto that path. After 200 meters, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
If you are approaching from the East on the A8 highway, take the second exit after the toll, which is also exit number 30 (Aix - Pont de l’Arc). Make a U-turn at the first roundabout and head south, entering RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.4 kilometers, and you will be very close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto that path. After 200 meters, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
If you are starting from Aix Downtown (Rotonde), take Avenue des Belges, heading south from Rotonde. Then, immediately after the roundabout, take Avenue Pierre Brossolette. Continue straight and cross over Highway A8. Drive for approximately 2.4 kilometers on RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes, and you will be very close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto that path. After 200 meters, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
For those coming from Marignane Airport or the TGV Station, exit the airport and take route D9 towards "Gare TGV" and "Vitrolles." Ignore signs leading to the Aix Marseille Highway. Drive for approximately 10 kilometers, and you will pass below the TGV station on route D9. From the TGV station, continue on route D9 towards Aix. Stay on D9 until it ends at a traffic light after a few roundabouts. At the traffic light, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortune Ferrini) and drive for 2 kilometers.
