Welcome to "The Caminade," a charming old farm dating back to 1876, located in the picturesque village of Bourg de Bigorre at the foot of the Pyrenees. Nicole and Gerald, the proud owners, have lovingly restored this historic property to its original state, ensuring a truly comfortable and memorable stay for their guests.We offer three spacious rooms for your accommodation, two on the ground floor and one upstairs. You will also have access to our inviting swimming pool and terrace, complete with reclining chairs and patio furniture, where you can unwind and soak up the tranquil surroundings.
In addition to single-night stays, we also welcome guests for weekly bookings. For those who prefer to prepare their own meals, we provide a hot plate, fridge, and sink for your convenience. Alternatively, you have the option to join us for a delightful family evening meal. Our meals are always prepared using locally sourced produce and can be enjoyed either around the dining table or by the pool.

Endroit où nous allons régulièrement. Accueil chaleureux, cadre magnifique, propreté des lieux et bon goût de la décoration. L'espace commun est une vraie réussite. Chambres spacieuses (nous avons trois enfants).

Directions
To reach your destination, follow these travel directions:
- If you are coming from Toulouse, take motorway A64 (Toulouse-Bayonne) and exit at Capvern N°15. From there, head towards Capvern center, then take D938 towards Mauvezin Escaladieu. Turn left onto D14, which will lead you to Bourg de Bigorre.
- If you are coming from Pau, take the exit n°14 towards Tournay. Follow N117 towards Tournay center, then continue towards Ozon. Take D14 towards Abbey Escaladieu and Bourg de Bigorre.
- If you prefer to travel by train, you can get off at either Tournay station (10Kms away) or Lannemezan station (15 Kms away).
- If you are arriving by plane, the nearest airports are Tarbes-Lourdes airport (30kms away), Pau airport (80Kms away), and Toulouse airport (130 Kms away).
Once you reach Bourg, look for a red hut and take the left turn. Proceed uphill for about 200m, and you will arrive at the Caminade.
