Welcome to Pognandière, a charming gite in Normandy, located in the heart of the Auge countryside in Orne. This comfortable and inviting 18th-century half-timbered house can accommodate up to 5 people. Whether you're looking for a night, a weekend, or a week-long stay, Pognandière is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful Augeron bocage.The gite features a cozy living room with a traditional Norman fireplace, exposed beams, and tiled floors. It is equipped with a TV, TNT, and a DVD player. The well-appointed kitchen includes a microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and a cellar with a washing machine. There is also a toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, you will find a bedroom with two 90cm beds and the possibility to add an additional 90cm bed. There is also a bedroom with a 140cm bed. The hydromassage shower and toilet complete the first floor.
The gite showcases typical Norman architecture with its half-timbered walls, exposed beams, tiled floors, and hardwood parquet. You will have access to a private outdoor area and parking space.
Pognandière is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and offers plenty of nearby attractions to explore. Visit the famous village of Camembert, known for its delicious cheese, just 5km away. The National Stud farm of the Pine is also within reach at 13km. Other popular destinations such as Caen, Deauville, Honfleur, the D-Day landing beaches, and even Paris are easily accessible within a reasonable driving distance.
