The Main HouseThe Maison de l'Orchidée is a historic Masters Vignernon house constructed in the 1700s. While preserving its original features, the main facilities have been updated to meet modern standards for a comfortable bed and breakfast experience. The presence of wooden doors and skirtings adds to the building's historical charm. With central heating in all rooms, the house is perfect for breaks during the later seasons. The loft space has been impeccably insulated with half a meter thickness to ensure warmth during winter. This creates a cozy atmosphere for visits in October and November, when the autumn colors are at their finest. It is a delightful experience to return to a warm room and enjoy a complimentary mug of hot chocolate or Coca (available only for winter bookings from November to March). The construction of the walls helps maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year, keeping the house cool in summer and retaining warmth in winter. Additionally, all bedroom suites are equipped with large ceiling fans to circulate air during the warmer summer nights, ensuring a pleasant and restful sleep.
