In 2017, Sakura Guesthouse was established with the goal of offering comfortable accommodation to visitors from around the globe. Nestled on the serene banks of the Dordogne river within a spacious one-acre garden, our primary objective is to ensure that your stay with us is both peaceful and delightful.Conveniently located, our guesthouse is easily accessible and only a short stroll away from a train station that provides connections to Bordeaux, Bergerac, Sarlat, and St. Emilion.
Our garden boasts mature fruit trees and offers pleasant outdoor seating and dining areas for your enjoyment. If you have a penchant for bird watching, our garden becomes a haven for numerous species during the spring and summer seasons, while the river is a constant home to graceful swans, majestic herons, and lively geese. Additionally, should you desire to indulge in some fishing, direct access to the river is available from our property.
Within close proximity, the nearby towns provide all the amenities necessary for a convenient stay, including bakeries, a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, a bank, and a post office.

The house is located in the heart of Aquitaine, between Bordeaux and Sarlat-la-Canéda, and can be reached by a 90-minute drive. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the market towns of Bergerac and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, and offers easy access to Bergerac-Roumanière Airport and the local TER train network. The local train station is just a short ten-minute walk away.
