Directions
To get to Vézelay from Paris Lyon (RN6 or A6), take Exit 22 towards Avallon. Drive through Avallon on RN6 towards Vézelay and Auxerre. When leaving Avallon, at a roundabout, exit RN6 and follow the signs for Vézelay and Pontaubert. In Pontaubert, at the end of the village, turn left (south) towards Menades and Island. Just before reaching the village of Island, you will notice the castle on your left, surrounding the road.
