Description for B&B:
The Domaine de Pradaous, also known as the "Relais de la Garde de Dieu," is a historic XVIIth century stage coach situated on the ancient Roman road, via Domitia, which connected Italy to Spain. It holds significance as a place visited by the renowned French writer Stendhal, who mentioned it in his journal, "Oeuvre Intimes," back in 1806.This delightful B&B underwent renovations in 2016, seamlessly blending traditional architectural elements with contemporary interior design and an impressive art collection. Our spacious and luminous bedrooms, four in total (three of which can accommodate up to four guests), boast modern comforts and feature generously-sized bathrooms. Outside, a large terrace awaits you, along with a heated pool that offers breathtaking views of the charming village of Reillanne perched on the nearby hill.
No visit to Provence would be complete without relishing in its exquisite cuisine. At the Domaine de Pradaous restaurant, you can indulge in a friendly and casual atmosphere. Guided by the changing seasons and the availability of fresh local produce found at nearby markets, your host Sheila will delight you with authentic and flavorsome Provencal dishes, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of the finest local wines.
