La Relinquière is a charming bed and breakfast and cottage located in the medieval village of Milhac in Lot (46).

Situated at the crossroads of the main tourist routes of Quercy and Périgord, La Relinquière is a historic property steeped in rich heritage and local culture. Isabelle and Patrick warmly welcome guests to their former farmhouse, built in the late eighteenth century and constructed entirely of Perigord stones. The property has undergone several renovations and features a delightful heated pool maintained at a comfortable temperature of 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.

Guests have the option to choose from three charming guest rooms, each classified with 3 ears, with one room conveniently located on the ground floor of the main house. Additionally, an independent cottage with a living area of approximately 100 square meters is available for 4 to 5 people, also classified with 3 ears. All accommodations come with access to the swimming pool.

La Relinquière is ideally situated in the heart of a picturesque medieval village, nestled between the stunning regions of Perigord Gourdon in Lot and Sarlat-la-Caneda in Dordogne. This prime location provides easy access to some of the most renowned sites in Quercy and Perigord, including the Cougnac and Lascaux Caves, the panoramic views of Domme, the medieval town of Gourdon in Lot, the enchanting village of Laroque-Gageac, and the impressive castles of Milandes and Castelnaud. Rocamadour, perched atop its rocky outcrop, and the vibrant city of Sarlat, with its bustling streets and lively market, are also within close proximity.

Description for Gite

Welcome to La Relinquière, a charming cottage located in the medieval village of Milhac between Sarlat and Gourdon in Le Quercy and Perigord. This recently converted farmhouse retains its authentic character and offers a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The cottage spans approximately 100m² across two levels. On the first level, you will find a cozy living room with a wood stove set in a traditional fireplace called a "cantou." The fully equipped kitchen-dining area opens onto a private terrace, perfect for enjoying meals in the open air. Additionally, there is a comfortable bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.

Moving up to the second level, you will discover a games room with a television and a sofa-bed that can accommodate an additional guest. There is also a spacious bedroom furnished with two single beds, which can be converted into a double bed upon request.

We strive to provide a comfortable and convenient stay, which is why we offer a range of amenities. Your beds will be made upon your arrival, and throughout your stay, you will have access to a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, dryer, ironing board, iron, and weekly linen changes. If you are traveling with a little one, we can provide a cot upon request. For entertainment, there is a TV with a DVD player, as well as wifi access.

After a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings, you can unwind and cool off in the inviting swimming pool. The pool hours are conveniently displayed on the rental contract.

Directions

If you are coming from the north of France, take the A20 motorway and exit at Souillac. From there, follow the signs to Le Roc, Masclat, and Milhac.

If you are coming from Toulouse, take the A20 motorway and exit at the first exit for Cahors south. Then, follow the signs towards Brive. At the exit for the Bridge of Rhodes, turn left and head towards St Cirq Souillaguet. Once you reach Gourdon, continue towards Sarlat. After passing the ponds, be sure to check the weather conditions. If it is raining, continue towards Milhac.
