The farmhouse, known as the Cortijo, has a rich history of over 300 years and has been meticulously restored to create a luxurious and refined destination. Previously owned by the renowned local bullfighter Pedro Barrera Elbal, guests staying at this bed and breakfast are invited to indulge in the various amenities offered by the house, including a swimming pool, gardens, lounge, and library, while also exploring the charming local countryside. A choice of Continental and Full English breakfast is available to start the day.Located in close proximity to Caravaca de la Cruz, a city recognized as the fifth holiest in Christendom, as well as the villages of La Almudema and La Encarnacion, the property is surrounded by a picturesque pine forest, almond groves, and fruit trees, creating an ideal atmosphere for relaxation.
The cortijo features five luxurious en-suite bedrooms, each with its own comfortable seating area. Additionally, guests can enjoy the lounge, dining room, and library within the premises. Directions from Murcia (San Javier) Airport:
1. Depart Murcia (San Javier) Airport and head towards Alicante on the AP7.
2. Take the C3319/RM 19 exit at junction 782 to Murcia.
3. After approximately 20 minutes, make a right turn onto the A30 towards Murcia.
4. Take the J151—MU31 exit, signposted Alcantarilla/Almeria/Granada E15/A7.
5. Follow this road as it becomes the MU30 and then the RM15 (Mula/Caravaca de la Cruz) after the tunnel.
6. Continue on the RM15 for approximately 60 kilometers, passing Caravaca de la Cruz.
7. Proceed onto the RM730 (signposted Barranda/Huescar/Andalucia) after Caravaca de la Cruz.
8. Drive up the long hill and you will see two Repsol petrol stations at the top.
9. Take a left turn (signposted LORCA/RM711) and continue for 4.4 kilometers, passing through Los Prados and Pinilla de San Jose.
10. As you leave Pinilla de San Jose, take the first left turn (approximately 200 meters), signposted Casa Pedro Barrera, and continue for 1 kilometer.
11. At the T-junction, turn right and continue for 800 meters.
12. Casa Pedro Barrera will be on your left-hand side.

1. Depart Alicante Airport and take the E15/A7(A70) towards Murcia.
2. Continue on the E15/A7—Almeria/Granada at junction 138.
3. Join the RM15 (junction 651B) in the direction of Mula/Caravaca de la Cruz.
4. Stay on the C415/RM15 for approximately 60 kilometers, passing Caravaca de la Cruz.
