Experience the charm of Provence in our small, independent country cottage. Nestled in the heart of the Luberon region, in the picturesque town of Saint Saturnin Les Apt, this cottage is attached to the owners' house, which is no longer in use. With its tranquil surroundings, it offers a perfect retreat for a couple or even a small family with a baby (baby equipment provided upon request, free of charge).The cottage boasts modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, vacuum cleaner, and a flat screen TV. The bedroom features a comfortable 160 cm bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a small chest of drawers, an armchair, and a storage cupboard (bed made upon arrival).
For relaxation, there is a cozy room with two Scandinavian armchairs, a coffee table, and a small storage unit with decorative items. A stand fan is provided for your comfort. The bathroom includes a shower and basin, and there is a separate WC.
Step outside onto the outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy meals or simply unwind while taking in the view of the vineyards. The garden furniture is sheltered under a beautiful arbor of greenery. A barbecue is available for your use, and there are sun loungers for ultimate relaxation. A carport is provided for your convenience.
If you're traveling with a baby, a cot can be provided upon request, free of charge. The village, which offers all necessary amenities, is just 1.5 km away.
The location of the cottage is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, as numerous hiking and biking trails start right from the doorstep. Additionally, there are plenty of nearby tourist sites to explore.
2022 Weekly Prices:
- May: 296 euros
- June-September: 316 euros
- July-August: 376 euros
The tourist tax is included in the price. Upon arrival, a deposit of 100 euros is required, which will be refunded on the day of departure if no damages are observed.
Optional extras include towel rental (5 euros per person) and compulsory end-of-stay cleaning (40 euros).
Please note that pets are not allowed. In case of a COVID-19 related cancellation, the deposit will be refunded (refer to the owner for specific conditions).

DIRECTIONS TO GITE LA TONNELLE:
1. Take the A7 motorway and exit at number 24 (Châteaurenard, LIsle-sur-la-sorgue, Apt).
2. Turn right towards (Airport, Avignon, Apt and Isle-sur-la-sorgue).
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D900 towards (Caumont, LIsle-sur-la-sorgue, Apt).
4. Continue on the D900 and at the next roundabout, take the direction (Dignes, Coustellet, Apt, Gordes).
5. Upon arriving at Coustellet, you have two possible itineraries.
Itinerary 1: Route d'Apt
- At Coustellet, continue straight on the D900 towards Apt at the crossroads.
- Pass through the Beaumettes and Lights.
- Upon reaching the entrance of Apt, turn left at the roundabout of the E-LECLERC shopping center.
- Take the D943 "Avenue du Viaduc" towards Saint Saturnin les Apt and cross the village.
- At the end of the village, turn left onto the D2 "Route de Roussillon" towards Cavaillon, Gordes, Roussillon.
- After 1.2 km, turn right in front of a house with large cedars and an oratory at the entrance. Pass by the domain of the Andes on your left. After 50 meters, turn right onto a small path that will lead you to the bastide.
Itinerary 2: Route de Gordes
- At Coustellet, turn left on the D2 towards the Imberts at the crossroads.
- Continue on the D2 towards Gordes. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead (do not go up into the village of Gordes) towards Joucas, La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
- Before reaching the "straight line" of Joucas, leave the town on the left and continue straight towards La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
- Cross the hamlet of La Tuilière and continue on the D2 for 4 km. Pass the hamlet of the Bellots and after 100 meters, turn left onto the second small road to access the cottage LA TONNELLE.
