Description:

Description for B&B:

I am a historic home that has been renovated in 2016/17, offering all the necessary comforts. Nestled amidst lush greenery, I provide a tranquil retreat where your children and pets can frolic joyfully without the worry of grumpy neighbors or proximity to a busy road. Despite the peaceful surroundings, I am not isolated from the center of the small village, which is home to a bakery/pastry shop, small grocery store, and café-restaurant. For additional shopping options, you can easily reach Corlay (4.5km away) or larger supermarkets in Rostrenen and Pontivy. The stunning Saint-Brieuc Bay and beach are just a 40-minute drive away, offering beautiful walks and numerous sightseeing opportunities, such as Lake Guerlédan and the Armorique Regional Park.

Inside the house, the ground floor features a spacious 50m2 living room and lounge area with a sofa bed, an American kitchen equipped with all the necessary amenities, and a cozy salamander fireplace to warm up chilly evenings (firewood provided). There is also a bathroom/laundry room and a toilet on this level. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms – one with a 160x200 bed and a child bed (70x145), and the other with a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed. Additionally, there is an alcove with a single bed. The upstairs area also offers a shower and toilet. The house was fully renovated in 2016 and ensures a comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience. You can even listen to your favorite records on the stereo and prepare delicious barbeques on the vertical rotisserie BBQ (great for your health).

Please note that the house has a septic tank, which is common in rural areas. To preserve the flora, it is important not to use any chemicals (such as bleach) that are harmful to septic tanks, and to avoid throwing anything in the toilet that may disrupt its functioning (cleaning products suitable for septic tanks are provided). For the safety of your children, the staircase is secured both upstairs and downstairs. In the garden, you will find a badminton set, a table football game, and a swing to keep everyone entertained.

Upon your arrival, a friendly young woman will welcome you and conduct a thorough inspection of the property. If you prefer not to handle the cleaning yourself, she can provide assistance at a rate of €15 per hour. Your deposit will be fully refunded upon departure if everything is in order.
