Located in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, "Le Bas des Vignes" offers an idyllic retreat surrounded by lush greenery and tranquility. Our charming farmhouse, built in the 19th century, is a true representation of the Marais style.Indulge in relaxation by taking a dip in our inviting pool. Situated in South Vendée, just 12 km south of Fontenay-le-Comte, the capital of Lower Poitou, we are conveniently located 35 km from the beautiful La Rochelle, Ile de Re, and the stunning Atlantic Ocean beaches. Additionally, we are only 15 minutes away from the enchanting Green Venice with its intricate canal system, the picturesque Massif Forestier Mervent, and just one hour from the renowned Grand Parc Puy du Fou with its famous cinéscénie show.
Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from Christine, Claude, and all of our friendly animals. Explore the Marais Poitevin on a quad horse-drawn carriage ride with Claude, or discover the charming landscapes of the Sevre Niortaise on his boat. We gladly welcome cyclists and hikers as well.
Our cozy rooms on the upper floor each feature a comfortable 160x200 bed, a private shower room, and a WC. The family room, "La Mer," can accommodate an additional bed, while "The Sun" room can be transformed into a spacious master suite. We provide complimentary baby furniture, refrigerators, and bicycles for delightful excursions in the marshland.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast on our sunny terrace in South Vendee, where you can savor homemade jams, cakes, and locally produced honey.
Take full advantage of our beautiful surroundings, including the swimming pool, garden furniture, deckchairs, and pond.
The rate for two people, including breakfast, is 50 per night for a minimum stay of two nights. For a single-night stay, the rate is 55 for two people, also including breakfast.
