Description for B&B:
Since 2016, Aurélie has been welcoming guests all year round to a charming old mansion in the typical Perigord style. This historic house was built in the late 18th century. Located between Terrasson (35 km), Périgueux (25 km), Montignac (20 km), and Sarlat (45 km), you will be in the heart of the main tourist attractions of the Dordogne region. The convenient location, just a few kilometers from the A89 highway, makes it an ideal stopover for your holiday travels. There are three remarkable, romantic, and very spacious guest rooms available, all of which have been awarded the prestigious Gite de France (3 épis) and Clevacances (3 clés) labels. Each room can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people and features its own private bathroom or shower room with a sink and toilet. The beds (160x200) are of the highest quality, and the extra beds are also very comfortable. You will find a table, chair, armchairs, wardrobe, and shelves in each room.
Two of the rooms are located on the first floor and share a common lounge area equipped with a TV, fridge, coffee machine, and kettle. The room on the ground floor has an independent entrance and is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility, featuring grab bars in the walk-in shower and toilet, as well as ample space for wheelchair circulation.
For families with young children, a cot, high chair, bath, and bottle warmer are available upon request, free of charge. The swimming pool is open from approximately June 15th to September and is secured by an alarm and fence. The parking area can accommodate up to three cars and is well-lit.
A delicious breakfast, including both sweet and savory options, is included in the room rate. It consists of pastries, bread, cereals, cheese, homemade jam, yogurt, fruits, juice, coffee, tea, ricoré, and chocolate. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00 in the dining room on the ground floor or outside on the terrace, weather permitting.
In the evening, upon reservation, Aurélie offers the opportunity to experience the traditional Perigordian table d'hôtes. Alternatively, you may choose to have a picnic. There is a toaster, microwave, fridge, and dishes at your disposal in the dining room.
