Introducing The Barn at ARRION: A Comfortable Retreat, 20 Minutes from the Ocean in Landes, Accommodating 4 to 12 PeopleWelcome to The Barn at ARRION, a charming and cozy barn located just a short 20-minute drive from the beautiful ocean beaches of Messanges, Soustons, and Vieux Boucau. Situated in a serene and peaceful setting amidst nature, this isolated retreat offers absolute tranquility.
The barn can comfortably sleep 4 guests in its two adjoining bedrooms, with additional seating and dining spaces available for 8 campers belonging to the same group (tents not provided). The accommodation features a bedroom with a 140cm bed, another with a 160cm bed, and a baby bed. Guests will also have access to a bathroom with an Italian shower, two sinks, a separate toilet, and a washing machine.
The barn boasts a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto a covered terrace, where guests can enjoy their meals. There is also a cozy lounge area, a dining area with a spacious 12-person table, and a bar corner. The barn is surrounded by 8 hectares of open wooded ground, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. Guests can also make use of the BBQ and outdoor warm shower.
In terms of location, The Barn at ARRION is conveniently situated just 3km from the A63 motorway, between Magescq and Herm. The village of Magescq is also just 3km away. The barn is within easy reach of various attractions, including the ocean beaches of Messanges Plage, the center of Soustons, Soustons Plage, and Vieux Boucau, all within a short 20-minute drive. Additionally, the thermal town of Dax is just 16km away, and there are several lakes, including Soustons, Léon, and Saint-Paul-les Dax, in the vicinity.
During your stay, bed linen (sheets and covers), bath mats, 4 towels, and a kitchen towel will be provided. The barn offers various forms of entertainment, including dice, cards, darts, petanque for children, golf equipment, hikes into the forest, croquet for children, volleyball, badminton, and access to a ping-pong table. Please note that there is no television, but WIFI is available within 100 meters of the barn. The owner lives nearby and will be happy to provide any necessary advice or assistance.
For additional accommodation, ARRION guesthouse, located just 100 meters from the barn, offers extra bed and breakfast options.
Tariffs for 2022 for 4 persons are as follows:
- Weekly rental, minimum one week stay
- Check-in on Saturdays at 4 pm, check-out on Saturdays at 12 noon
- Mid-July to end of August: €900 per week
- Low season: €700 per week
- Campers with their own tents: €10 per person per day (children under 10 years stay free)
- A deposit of €500 is required.
