This home is located in my hometown TROUILLAS, separate from my main house by a small patio and a lovely wrought iron staircase leading to my deck. You can also choose to have breakfast with a beautiful view of the Alberes either at the house or on the deck, depending on your preference. Trouillas is located in the sunny Department of Pyrénées-Orientales, which can be a bit windy at times, with the North wind and marine breeze. The area is known for its enviable temperatures.
There is a rich heritage in the area that I invite you to explore. I provide books and pamphlets in the guest room that offer detailed information. Our capital of Canton is only 5 km away and is the birthplace of BYRRH, known for its delicious Saturday market and various amenities. In Trouillas, you will find a grocery store, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, two doctors, pedicure services, nurses, and a tobacco shop.
You can also indulge in wine tasting at the local wine cooperatives and private vineyards. We are conveniently located 20 km from the sea, 80 km from the mountains, and have easy access to Spain through Perthus, which is 25 km away. The mountains of Andorra and Puigcerda in Cerdagne are within reach, as well as the beautiful coastline of Côte Vermeille leading up to Cerberus and Port Bou, and the Costa Brava.
In conclusion, I invite you to come and experience the beauty of this region. France is truly wonderful, and I am confident that you will enjoy your stay.
