Situated within a large house, the "House of Wood" is surrounded by nature and boasts a patio terrace for guests to enjoy. The location offers the opportunity to explore the rich history of the Maurienne valley, with attractions such as the Esseillon forts, as well as the chance to embark on beautiful hikes in the Vanoise national park. Furthermore, visitors can partake in various exhilarating springtime activities, including rock climbing (300m away), a via ferrata with a devil's tree climbing park just 3km away, and road biking along the magnificent Alps, with access to iconic Maurienne passes such as Iseran, Galibier, and Mont Cenis.

Distance to Villarodin-Bourget: 105 km from Chambery, 145 km from Grenoble, 215 km from Lyon, and 115 km from Turin.
Directions by train: It takes approximately 4 hours to reach Modane from Paris Gare International. Take the TGV from Paris to Chambéry and then make a direct correspondence to Chambéry-Modane. Another option is to take the TGV from Paris to Milan.
