The house is situated in the charming village of Godewaersvelde, which is listed as a heritage site in the beautiful Monts de Flandres region. It is conveniently located just a few kilometers from the Belgian border and is easily accessible. Godewaersvelde is only a 30-minute drive from Lille and the Opal Coast, and 10 km from Poperinge.This historic house, built in 1870, is located in the heart of the village and offers a delightful setting for both business and leisure stays in the region. On the first floor, there are three spacious and comfortable boutique guest rooms, which are owned by the hosts.
The Sweet Duplex Room, measuring 35m2, features a living area with a sofa bed (140/200), a queen-sized bed (160/200), a bathroom with a shower (120/90) and a basin, as well as a separate toilet. The Garden of Dreams Room, approximately 25m2 in size, offers a queen-sized bed (160/200), a futon sofa, a bathroom with a corner bath and a basin, and a separate toilet. Both rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV.
The third bedroom, also 25m2, includes a double bed, a private shower room, and a toilet. On the ground floor, guests have access to a living room with a selection of books and brochures, as well as a veranda with board games. Meals can be arranged upon reservation.
The house is surrounded by a 1900 m² enclosed garden, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a secure storage area for bicycles and a garden lounge. To reach our destination from Dunkerque, take the A25/E42 and exit at 13 for Steenvoorde/Poperinge. Follow the signs for Poperinge. At the first roundabout, go around and take the last exit. At the second roundabout, continue straight. At the third roundabout, take the first right towards Godewaersvelde. Keep going for about 3 km until you reach the village center. The house will be approximately 500 meters after the entrance sign, on your right. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.
If you are coming from Lille on the A25/E42, take exit 12 for Bailleul center/Méteren. Turn right and enter Méteren. Then, take the first left onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for about 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Continue straight and you will find the house on your left. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence for guidance.
From Bailleul, head towards Méteren. In Méteren, take a right onto Rue des 4 Aymon son (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for approximately 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Continue straight and you will find the house on your left. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence for guidance.
