Situated between the Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais / Beaujolais, our cottage is surrounded by renowned wineries such as Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, and more. You'll have access to a tourist map and local recommendations to enhance your wine-tasting experience.

For fishing enthusiasts, the Saône and Grosne rivers, as well as various ponds, offer ample opportunities for angling. If you prefer swimming, the beautiful Lakes of Laives are just an 8-minute drive away, complete with a beach and paddle boats.

Nature lovers will appreciate the 33 hiking trails and the GR 76 and Paths Moines, which meander through the picturesque landscapes of the Grosne and Saône valleys. Additionally, the bucolic Greenway and the Route Blue along the Saône are perfect for walking, mountain biking, and skating.

Delve into the region's history by visiting castles, Romanesque churches, and abbeys, as well as exploring charming villages with traditional Burgundian wash houses, fountains, and water mills. Enjoy boat rides along the Saône and Seille rivers to soak up the scenic views.

The cottage itself features a spacious and bright living room with a large screen TV, TNT, and WIFI. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, and coffee maker. The bathroom offers a shower, heated towel rail, and a hairdryer. Additional amenities include a separate toilet, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a cot available upon request.

To get to the SENNECEY cottage in LE GRAND, Saone et Loire, follow these travel directions: It takes approximately 15 minutes by car from CHALON-SUR-SAONE and 8 minutes from Tournus (using motorway exits A6 Chalon Sud and Tournus). The journey from Macon takes about 30 minutes, from Lyon it takes around 1 hour, and from Paris it takes approximately 3 and a half hours.
