This description is for a quaint 15th century rural house located in the valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. It showcases the typical architecture of the region, complete with a traditional bread oven and fireplace. The walls of the house are constructed by laying wooden beams and filling them with a mixture of mud and straw, all built upon a sturdy stone wall base.

There is a newer masonry building adjacent to the house which serves as the ensuite bathroom sheepfold. This charming property has undergone restoration by local craftsmen who have utilized traditional techniques, while also incorporating some modern comforts.

Accommodating up to four people, the house offers four single beds. The nearby Sculpture Park Erich Engelbrecht, known as the Château des Fougis, is just a short 300-meter walk away. Our guests have the privilege of enjoying a complimentary visit to the sculpture park.

This charming countryside cottage offers a cozy and rustic atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful retreat. The living room features a comforting fireplace and a traditional bread oven, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The spacious kitchen includes a dining area, providing ample space for shared meals and culinary experiences.

Upstairs, you will find a bedroom with two single beds, as well as a mezzanine area with two additional single beds. For added convenience, the twin beds can be easily pushed together to create comfortable double beds in both the bedroom and mezzanine. The bathroom is located in a separate building, accessible only from the outside (please refer to the photos).

Outside, a vast lawn awaits, accompanied by a magnificent wooden table for alfresco dining. Embrace the tranquility of the surroundings, as this property does not offer television or internet connection. Instead, take advantage of the opportunity to indulge in a good book and fully unwind during your holiday.

Parking is available within the property, ensuring convenience for guests. Additionally, there are various recreational activities to enjoy, such as tennis, table tennis, and swimming in the private pond. Explore the nearby hiking trails, embark on a canoeing adventure, or partake in thrilling activities such as karting and quad biking.

To ensure a comfortable stay, a weekly set of towels and bed linen is included in the price. However, please note that between October and April, there will be an additional electricity charge based on actual consumption, calculated using a power meter from ERDF. For your convenience, a cleaning service is available for an additional fee of 50,00 EUR. Furthermore, a tourist tax of 0.60 EUR per person, per night applies.
