Description:

Description for B&B:

As you make your way down the driveway, flanked by ancient oak trees, you will stumble upon Kermeur, a stunning mansion house built in 1869. Nestled in the serene Brittany Countryside, yet only a mere 12 km from the sea, your stay here will be a truly peaceful experience, surrounded by a 4-hectare park adorned with a variety of tree species and home to Erwan horses. The property is even designated as a bird sanctuary, offering glimpses of drovers, doves, and robins, while the sounds of woodpeckers, magpies, and Carla owls fill the air.

Originally a working farm until its transformation in 1987, this mansion has been lovingly restored to preserve its timeless charm. Today, it stands proudly as a haven for our guests, where simplicity and refinement are cultivated. We are delighted to welcome you to this enchanting abode.

We offer three uniquely decorated bedrooms, each equipped with a selection of books and informative material about Brittany. To enhance your relaxation, each room is furnished with a kettle, allowing you to unwind with a soothing cup of tea. Additionally, all bedrooms feature private ensuite bathrooms or spa showers, complete with hairdryers and cozy bathrobes.

In the morning, you can indulge in a delectable breakfast spread. Fresh bread, toast, pastries or croissants, homemade jams, cereals, and refreshing fruit juices await you. Complemented by your choice of coffee, tea, milk, or hot chocolate, this delightful feast can be savored in the grand dining room, overlooking the crackling fireplace, or in the blossoming garden by the pool during the spring season.

Feel free to make use of the living room and library, where you can relax and unwind at your leisure. As for your vehicle, it will find a safe haven in our garage overnight.

Please note that pets are not permitted, as our greyhound Juno, who warmly welcomes all visitors, prefers to be the sole furry host.

Review by: Pascale Moreau, Aou 9 2011 9:59AM
