Le Clos Monthébert is a charming cottage nestled in the serene countryside. This former farmhouse has been beautifully transformed into a cozy country house, surrounded by a lush one-hectare park filled with trees and enclosed for privacy. The cottage is situated in an annex next to the owners' residence.On the ground floor, guests will find a welcoming entrance hall and a bright and spacious kitchen with a rustic yet modern vibe. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, large fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a dining area. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large living-dining room that exudes a flea market atmosphere, offering a unique blend of charm and character.
The ground floor also features two comfortable bedrooms. The Plantagenet room boasts a king-size bed (160cm) and a stylish ensuite bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, and separate toilet. Decorated in soothing shades of gray and mauve, this room offers enchanting views of the garden. The Bocage room, on the other hand, offers a cozy ambiance with its rough stone walls and tiled floor. It features a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, and separate toilet.
Upstairs, accessed via a spiral staircase, is the 24 Hours Room. This spacious attic room can accommodate a small family or three individuals in separate beds. It offers two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed (180cm) as well as an additional single bed. The room has its own bathroom with a bath, basin, walk-in shower, Italian, and toilet.
The cottage provides all necessary amenities, including linen and WIFI. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, furnishings, a fan, and a hairdryer. During pleasant weather, guests can enjoy the enclosed garden and furnished terrace, perfect for outdoor dining. The beautiful wooded park is also available for leisurely walks, accompanied by the owners' friendly Golden Retriever, who is accustomed to children.
For relaxation and recreation, guests have access to a magnificent and secure swimming pool, measuring 10m by 5m. The pool is accompanied by a solarium terrace with comfortable deckchairs and a pergola. Please note that the swimming pool is shared with the owners and open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Alcohol consumption is not permitted in this area.
The property offers free and secure parking with a digital code gate, as well as the option of a covered shelter for one car. With its exceptional comfort and convenient location, Le Clos Monthébert is the ideal base for a memorable vacation. Nearby attractions include the Circuit des 24H du Mans, the historic center of Le Mans, various green and waterway circuits, the state forest of La Petite Charnie, horseback riding, Brûlon leisure center (offering supervised swimming, canoeing, paddle surfing, pedal boating, mountain biking, tennis, and archery), as well as the Papea amusement park and La Flèche Zoo.
The cottage is easily accessible via exits 8 and 9 of the A11, A28, and A81 motorways, making it a convenient destination approximately 20-25 minutes away.
