Directions
Nearest airport: Brindisi (served by Alitalia, RyanAir, and other airlines). After landing, you can rent a car which will take approximately 1 hour. The GPS coordinates are 40° 02' 52.7496" - 40.047986 and 18° 23' 11.9796" - 18.386661. To reach your destination, follow these driving directions from Brindisi Airport:
1. Follow the signs for Lecce and merge onto SS16.
2. Continue straight until you reach the exit marked "Tangenziale Ovest" towards Gallipoli/Galatina. Take this exit.
3. Exit at 11B-Maglie towards S.M.Leuca and return to SS16 for approximately 20 km until you see the sign for Maglie.
4. When the guardrail in the middle ends, stay on the right as the exit for Poggiardo, Castro, "S.Cesarea T" will appear just after an underpass, which is only visible at the last moment.
5. Continue onto SS275, following the directions to "Poggiardo/S. Cesarea T."
6. At a T intersection with a traffic light and facing a red house on the left, turn left. This is the town of Vaste.
7. Turn right at the first traffic light, and after 200 m, you will arrive at the main square.
8. Turn left, with the church on your right, then turn right at the end and find a parking spot.
9. From there, walk to the right into a small square and ring the bell at #26. Congratulations, you have reached your destination!
