In the picturesque countryside of Burgundy, nestled between the vineyards of the Côte d'Or and the natural beauty of Le Morvan, you will find the charming and peaceful area of Manoir Bonpassage. This restored 19th century manor house, owned by Karel & Marja Brummer, offers a unique and characterful experience on the outskirts of Thury village. With its convenient location just 25 km from Beaune and Autun, surrounded by cultural and natural treasures, Manoir Bonpassage is the perfect base for exploring the region.On the first floor, you will find eight comfortable rooms, each accommodating 2 to 3 persons, all with en-suite bathrooms and toilets. Additionally, there is a spacious ground floor room for two persons, complete with a cozy lounging area and access to the terrace. After a day of adventure, guests can unwind in the lounge or on the garden terrace, where a variety of drinks, from a small espresso to a glass of authentic Burgundy wine, are served. The manor also boasts a refreshing swimming pool for guests to enjoy.
For those seeking a culinary experience, a quality home-cooked dinner is available upon reservation in the small and cozy dining room, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In the summer, dinner can be savored on the garden terrace until late in the evening.
The friendly owners are more than happy to assist in organizing day trips to renowned cultural sites in the Burgundy region, such as the famous Hôtel Dieu in Beaune, the Burgundy vineyards, and the historic towns of Autun and Dijon with their charming covered market places. The region is also dotted with impressive castles, some of which can be visited. Concerts often take place in historical buildings and churches, providing a rich cultural experience. Additionally, the surroundings offer beautiful Romanesque churches and chapels, as well as the stunning cathedrals of Vézelay and Autun, and the abbey of Cluny, for those who appreciate architectural wonders.

Directions
To reach Manoir Bonpassage, take motorway A6 towards Beaune and Lyon. Once on A6, continue in the direction of Dijon A38/Arnay-le-Duc. Take the exit for Dijon A38/Autun/Pouilly-en-Auxois. Follow N81 towards Autun. After passing Arnay-le-Duc, make a left turn onto D36 towards Epinac, which is located near the Aldi supermarket. Stay on this road and in Thury, you will come across a square with a church. After approximately 100 meters, take a small road to the left just after the Renault garage. Look for a sign indicating Manoir Bonpassage. Continue along this road, passing between two old farms and alongside a small lake. A short distance past the lake, you will find Manoir Bonpassage on your left.
