Description for Gite
Welcome to Les Sables, a charming holiday cottage that can accommodate up to 4 people. Whether you prefer the freedom of self-catering or the convenience of half board, we offer both options.Located on the outskirts of Ain, Isere, and Savoie, at the base of Mont Cord and Mount Izieu, in the municipality of Glandieu Brégnier Cord, our cottage is perfectly situated. It is situated along the Viarhôna, a greenway that connects Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, providing direct access to the runway. It is also on the route of footpaths Pays de Lhuis and Izieu, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures.
Our single-storey cottage is 45m2 and faces south, ensuring plenty of natural light. It is not attached to any other buildings and has its own entrance. Outside, there is a paved and shaded terrace, as well as a parking lot shared with another cottage. The cottage is located close to the owners' house, providing a quiet and secluded atmosphere. Inside, you will find a main living-kitchen area with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. There is also a bedroom with twin beds that can be configured as either 2 single beds or 1 double bed, depending on your preference. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. Outside, there is outdoor furniture, a barbecue, and a lawn area for relaxation and play.
You can rent our cottage for overnight stays, weekends, weeks, or even months. The rental rates vary depending on the period and the number of people. You can find the rates on our website.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy during your stay at our cottages. You can go cycling, swimming, or explore the nearby walking trails with our donkeys. If you prefer a more relaxed holiday, you can simply enjoy the tranquility of our surroundings.
We also offer themed vacations throughout the year. From April to October, we have a partnership with the Walibi amusement park, offering discounted packages that include park entry. We also have donkey-themed vacations where you can spend a day interacting with donkeys in the cottage. From May to September, we offer a hiking tour in partnership with the Tourist Office, which includes a 5-day, 4-night stay in our cottages while exploring the Tower Lhuis Izieu. In 2015, we introduced a holiday exploring the Green Lane, which includes accommodation in our cottage. This option is available for a minimum of 3 days and 2 nights and is suitable for families.
We look forward to welcoming you to Les Sables and providing you with a memorable holiday experience.
