Description:

Description for B&B:

Located near the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park and just one hour away from the gorges of Ardeche and the Chauvet cave, the Little Convent of the Benedictines was constructed in 1346 by Lord Bermond of Anduze. Situated on the outskirts of Chomérac in the heart of the fertile Payre Valley, this charming establishment is surrounded by the majestic Coiron Grads limestone mountains and basaltic landscapes, offering numerous trails for exploration. The owners of the Little Convent are more than happy to assist guests in discovering these hidden gems. The village itself exemplifies the unique characteristics of this region of Ardèche, with its close proximity to the Rhone Valley. Nearby attractions include the hamlet of Taverna, the small Romanesque church of St-Martin-le-Supérieur, the picturesque Lavezon Valley, and the captivating villages of Meysse and Saint-Vincent-du-Barres. Your stay at the Little Convent or its annexes will provide you with the freedom to indulge in the peaceful surroundings, located just 800 meters from the village center and local shops. The owners, an actress and artist, and a doctor and sculptor, have created a serene atmosphere along the river Véronne, showcasing their artistic creations. The accommodations offer double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and toilets, providing refined comfort and tranquility. A generous breakfast is included, and for dinner, there is an option available at an additional cost of 25 per person. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are heated and can be booked for private use. To the east, there is a 25-square-meter room in the annexes, overlooking the serene gardens, with a large bed, bathroom with shower, and toilet. In the central part of the annexes, there is a 45-square-meter room with a large bed, vaulted ceilings, and the possibility of accommodating two additional beds for an extra fee. This room also has a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Within the convent building itself, on the upper floor, there is a 15-square-meter vaulted room with a large bed and an adjoining bathroom overlooking the inner courtyard. Free parking is available in the garden, with the option to secure a closed garage for an additional fee.

Appréciations pour Le Petit Couvent, Chomérac:

Un séjour très agréable
Review by: Jean-Pierre Cattelain, Mai 24 2024 1:01PM
