Description for B&B:
Since 2004, our home in Aire sur l'Adour has served as a gathering spot for pilgrims in search of accommodation along the Spirit of the Way. We are Isabelle and Alejandro, a French-Spanish couple who became connected through our own pilgrimages on the Way.Having embarked on numerous pilgrimages throughout France and Spain since 1985, taking various routes, and having previously volunteered as innkeepers for fellow pilgrims, we decided to establish our own dedicated gîte solely for the purpose of accommodating pilgrims.
We invite you to experience the pilgrim ambiance of simplicity, sharing, and conviviality within our humble abode. We stand ready to assist you on your pilgrimage journey by offering guidance, attentive listening, assistance, and kindness.
Our gîte is housed in a 19th century typical Aire sur Adour residence located in the charming old-town area, a mere 100 meters from the GR65 (The Way), and conveniently situated near shops and transportation. The warm and vibrant decor of our home creates a welcoming atmosphere.
In terms of accommodation, we provide a place of rest with 15 beds (not bunk beds) distributed across 5 flexible rooms, accommodating 2, 3, 4, and 6 individuals, all equipped with heating.
Each evening, we prepare homemade meals and gather together for a communal dinner. Additionally, our kitchen is at your disposal free of charge.
