The accommodation is a charming four-storey house located in the heart of Bagnères de Bigorre in the Hautes Pyrenees. Situated in the pleasant residential square of Place Jeanne d'Albret, it offers a convenient two-minute walk to the town center, where guests can find a variety of shops, markets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés, and churches. Recently renovated, the house preserves its original features, showcasing the typical old French town house style of the area, which has a history of 300 years, with foundations reaching back 400 years. While maintaining its character, the house is equipped with all the modern amenities required for comfortable living.The ground floor consists of a traditional dining room and a modern kitchen. On the second floor, there are three double bedrooms, two of which are connected (one double and two singles), with balconies that overlook the square. Guests staying in these bedrooms have exclusive access to the neighboring bathroom, shower, and WC. Additionally, there is another separate double bedroom on this floor. The attic rooms on the third floor can accommodate three more guests, offering wash sinks and access to a sunny roof terrace. Guests can also use a second bathroom and shower room on the first floor, along with two additional WCs.
Breakfast is served according to guests' preferences, offering a choice between Continental and French options or classic cereal, toast, and eggs. Evening meals are available upon request, prepared by the host who is a skilled cook. The menu typically includes four courses, complemented by wine, and showcases dishes inspired by the local traditional cuisine. Prices for these meals can be found on the "prices" page.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house at no additional cost. Guests have exclusive use of a comfortable lounge equipped with a TV that receives French and UK Channels.
