Originally an old farm, it underwent a complete renovation in 2002 with the aim of preserving the authentic architecture of our region, resulting in a charming and inviting country house. Thanks to the central heating system, the cottage is suitable for year-round stays, allowing you to enjoy its comforts at any time of the year. Welcome to our charming country cottage, located in the beautiful "marais poitevin" region of South-Vendee. Situated in the idyllic rural hamlet of Baude, just 2km from Montreuil, 12km from Fontenay the Comte, and a short 45km drive to the stunning beaches of la Faute sur mer, this is the perfect getaway. Additionally, the vibrant city of La Rochelle is only 60km away.Originally an ancient farm, this 130m2 gîte was lovingly renovated in 2002, with a focus on preserving the traditional architecture of the region while providing a comfortable and inviting country retreat. Thanks to its fuel fired central heating, the gîte is suitable for year-round stays.
Our cottage offers various options for your length of stay, whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend, a week-long escape, or even a longer vacation. On the ground floor, you'll find a convenient storeroom equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The well-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, deep-freeze, dishwasher, and microwave. The cozy living room features a color TV, and indoor games are available for your entertainment. A delightful double bedroom and a separate shower with a WC complete the ground floor.
On the first floor, you'll find three comfortable twin bedrooms, along with a shower room and WC. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a WC for your convenience.
