On the ground floor, you will find a spacious open-plan living area with a fully equipped corner kitchen and dining area. There is also a comfortable double bedroom and a large bathroom with an open shower unit.

Upstairs, there is a twin bedded room for additional sleeping arrangements.

In the garage, you will find a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.

The Garden House is located in the beautiful Suisse Normande, known for its hills, gorges, and rivers. This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of activities such as walking, fishing, climbing, and canoeing. There are also miles of cycling tracks for those who enjoy biking.

For those looking to explore the area, the property is conveniently located near attractions such as Caen, with its historic buildings and Normandy landing beaches, Bayeux and its famous tapestry, and Falaise, the birthplace of Guillaume the Conqueror. The charming town of Clécy, known as the Capital of the Suisse Normande, is also nearby with its delightful town square, riverside restaurants, and quaint bars and cafes.

A large folder full of brochures in the gite will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your stay. Whether you're interested in fishing, walking, canoeing, rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, paragliding, or golf, there is something for everyone in this area.

The changeover day is usually Saturday, but there is sometimes flexibility for other days. Weekend and mid-week rentals are also available, and the price includes electricity. All rooms are equipped with electric convector heaters for your comfort.

Directions

The property is conveniently located 45 minutes away from the Ouistreham ferry terminal. It is also approximately 1 hour away from The Havre ferry terminal and 2 hours away from Cherbourg. If you are driving from Dieppe, it will take you approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach the property. Similarly, if you are coming from Paris, expect a travel time of around 3 hours.
