We are located halfway between Vallon Pont D'Arc and Villeneuve de Berg, approximately 12 km away, in the charming town of St. Maurice d'Ibie. Our lovely stone cottage is situated next to the village bakery and is tastefully decorated on two levels. It offers two beautiful terraces facing east, one of which is covered with views of the garrigue and vineyards. On occasion, you may even spot boars in the distance, adding to the natural charm of the area.The cottage features an open kitchenette integrated with the living/dining room, a wood stove for cozy evenings, and a bathroom with a toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140) and the other with two single beds (90).
For your convenience, we provide sheets, towels, and make the beds before your arrival. Our location allows you to enjoy the peaceful countryside, away from the noise, while still being close to the vibrant summer activities in Vallon Pont D'Arc. The Cottage in the bread oven is the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday in the Méridonale Ardeche.
There are plenty of sports, leisure, and cultural activities nearby. A playground is located just 200 meters from the cottage, and a beach known as "Hole in the Moon" is only 3 km away. Hiking opportunities are also available in the area.
Attractions such as the Pont d'Arc, the Museum of the Chauvet Cave, and the descent of the Ardeche Gorges by canoe or on foot are within reach. Other interesting sites include Orgnac Leading Online France, Aven Marzal, the Archaeological Site of Alba la Romaine, Viaduct 07, the village of St. Montan, the crocodile in Pierrelatte (26), Wood Païolive, Mount Mézenc, the Mont Gerbier de Jonc (source of the Loire), Lake Issarlès, and the Regional Natural Park of the Monts d'Ardèche.
Indulge in the local gastronomy, which includes specialties such as chestnuts, goat cheese, blueberries, cold cuts, and wine. You can even take a cellar tour and enjoy tasting excellent wines.
For dining options, there is a restaurant at the Auberge Salelles on-site, as well as Le Levant in St. Maurice d'Ibie, which is 4 km away.
Our cottage is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay with your baby, including a baby cot, highchair, baby changing station with a bath, blender, bottle warmer, and a safety barrier for stairs.
