Catherine and Benoit warmly invite you to experience the charm of their lovingly restored stone farmhouse in the Massif des Bornes-Aravis, all year round.With four inviting bedrooms, each boasting its own private bathroom and separate toilet, our accommodation comfortably accommodates up to three guests (four in the family room). You'll also have access to a spacious lounge area, complete with a large table for gathering and a cozy reading corner filled with a plethora of books and board games.
For those seeking a memorable dining experience, we occasionally offer meals at our table d'hôte, perfect for groups with advance reservations.
Within close proximity, the breathtaking view of Lake Annecy's crystal-clear waters awaits at the Col de la Forclaz. This mountain pass is renowned for its popularity among paragliders, hang gliders, cyclists, and hikers alike.

Directions
* If you are coming from Annecy, drive along the eastern shore of the lake and pass through Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier du Lac, and Menthon St Bernard. After passing Echarvines, before entering Talloires, take the D42 road towards Col de la Forclaz / Montmin. Skip Vérel and continue crossing Col de la Forclaz and Montmin Chef-Lieu. After reaching Montmin Chef-Lieu, drive 500 m and in the corner of the hamlet of Ferriere, take the small road opposite direction Montmin Plan.
* If you are coming from Ugine / Albertville, follow the signs for Annecy. Go around Faverges Marlens and stay on the D1508 road which temporarily becomes a 4-way. At the second roundabout after the end of the 4-way, take the D42 road (1st exit) towards Montmin / Col de la Forclaz. Cross Vesonne and start the climb to Montmin. In the hamlet of La Ferriere, take the small road on the right into the hairpin turn towards Plan Montmin.
* Once you are on the communal route to Plan Montmin, continue on the road for 1.5 km to reach the top village of Plan Montmin. Keep driving through the village and you will reach the bottom of Plan Montmin, 100 m away. The Chavane is the first house on the left side, in front of a meadow where a small chalet stands at the edge.
